Nail art is a creative way to decorate your nails and enhance their beauty by polishing them and painting them with different colors. One can also make them look artsy by creating a color accent, or other designs depending on your preference and the technician that you go to. Nail art usually comes after one has gotten a manicure and a pedicure which is a beauty treatment for your fingernails and toenails. These procedures are used to remove the extra cuticles around your nails and soften up the skin. There are many variations to nail arts ranging from gel nails to acrylics to dipping powder. With the advent of the modern nail care industry, there has been a rise in the popular trend. In some popular culture, nail art is tied to the very concept of femininity and gives a sense of belonging in a group of females. It is also a way of creating one’s own identity through fashion using different colors, shapes, and designs.
Though the women use nail art to express their womanliness, the different types of art define as a woman with a particular personality, as using French manicure (delicate) or using black nails (aggressive). People all around the world go to various nail artists to get their nails done the way they like. Like many people, Ashley Renee, a nail technician from Denver, Colorado, had been passionate about nail art for a long time. Her story goes something like this. Nail art was just a pastime for six years before I decided to make it my full-time job. My business opened in November of 2019. I am unique among nail techs because I’m passionate about every aspect of doing nails, from nail health to artwork.
My specialties are hand painting, making crisp drawings, and performing the perfect lasting gel manicure, which is all in high demand. I strive to help my clients embody confidence and creativity. I’m working to transform the ‘in and out’ model of nail services into a time where people can relax, have fun, and join in on the creative moments. Continuing education is important to me because there is so much more to learn. I have been thinking about sharpening my skills which gets me excited and motivated. My goals are to be a highly sought-after nail tech, and for people to be able to recognize my work before even seeing my name on it. Ideally, I’ll have my trendy nail salon in the 5 Points neighborhood of Denver.
